Eustasis (u-stay-sis) and Etano (ee-tahn-oh)

The Big Bang. It was a flash of light followed by an explosion so loud, the universe went deaf and became silent. It was phenomenal.

This creation was an accident, but that much is obvious. The passion behind it, is typically a mystery.

Etano and Eustasis are, as accurately as one could call them, the entire universe. To each other, they are more than each others' world. They are everything, nothing, life.. and death...

Etano is a fiery being. Shades of red emit from him and he is passion embodied. He is all the stars and suns and his passion is unmatched, cooled only by the temperature (or should I say temperament) and calm of space.

Eustasis is space. He is all that is when there is nothing. He is all shades of blue, dark and deep and peaceful. He is the subordinate, for the stars are in space, space is not in the stars.

Etano and Eustasis were The Big Bang, last time they made love, and though it created our world, it was violent and destructive. They couldn't help it, for they were so much in love...

Over the eons of time, the passion has been growing, and they two feel a pull they can not ignore. It is their nature, their life. The time is once again right for a 'big bang'.

When they came 'solidified' into beings in order to reunite once more, the beings here on the planets captured them and took them to the farthest two corners of the galaxies as they knew how to go. Being in the state that they were, before the natural magic within them was released, Etano and Eustasis could not return to the heavens. They did not have the strength. The beings of the planets, however, could not allow them to do so again, however. Their whole existence would be wiped out.

Etano, with his red skin and hair and all about form thrashes about in his confinement, wanting his love more than life and death and all in between. He fights with everything he has, but the ache hurts, and the touch of others hurts. He can not free himself, but still he fights the pain.

Eustasis, all dark blues and blacks, can not hear, nor speak. Humans frighten him as he does not understand their words or actions. He is easier to control, but harder to keep still. Mere presence or proximity will make him move about, away from the source of fear, and he pines for his love, trying more subtle ways to escape his own prison, his own hell. He lures and tricks to find his way out.

The two only heavenly beings are held only by their immortality from death, and will stop at nothing to be re-united.

The planetary beings must keep them apart to save themselves.

2008-11-14 [Artsy]: I even have a 'fail safe' mechanism set up in my head. :) Should it start dying, I know EXACTLY how I could 're-start' it, without re-starting it. ^^ No work would need to be lost, and yet the rp could start anew!

I would say turn it into an rp, but that would be selfish. It shouldn't be ruined by too many people who would end up dropping it or dropping out.. and even a private rp has a chance of dying.

I think you should keep it untouched as a story. ^^

2008-11-14 [Artsy]: I'm really not a good writer though. I enjoy rping with others. And again, if it's failing, I can fix it. I always set up such plans before the rp can fail. But more importantly. I will be Eustasis and Etano, so no god powering! You must all be... well, not humans, you can be human in it, of course, but you can be some kind of alien too. That's an option. Don't worry! If it's an rp, I like to think my rp specialty is keeping things on track. ^^ After all, I know where this is going, I know the plot, and I'm in charge. Who better to keep the rp on track?

2008-11-14 [Artsy]: It's simple, UK! If the rp is failing, or gets stuck, Eustasis and Etano make it back together and BOOM! And the story re-starts eons more in the future, at this same point. ^^ Of course, this would involve no re-use of charies from old versions! But I think that's a fair thing to ask. :)

2008-11-14 [Artsy]: Yeah. It's sci-fi I guess. It's not... fantasy style. Think... Eustasis and Etano would be seen more as... all-powerful aliens, the 2 main ones, the universe together. They are not gods. This is not religious. I mean, sure, bring religion in, it's an important part of making the story 'life like', but this is not religion based. You're character can be religious, but not like.. an angel, or demon, or anything like that, you know?

2008-11-14 [Artsy]: Even if there is no one who is say... Christian, use an easy one. No one plays a christian in the story, your character, fighting to keep Etano in his cage (if your chary is a guard) could say like 'Those damn Christians outside keep sayin' he's the devil! I'm startin' to believe them!' Or something like that. And of course, you could have, say, a priest, who really DOES think he's the devil, which would make Eustasis God.... Well THAT could be interesting....

2008-11-14 [The Blood Angel]: *ponders* actually. I have my character Generator ticking now. Thinking of an Inquisitor of sorts, a person who hunts down those who would seek to bring the universal beings together and destroy the universe as he knows it. Part of a secret organisation of sorts, who actively spreads rumours about themselves to insight fear into populations as a deterant against radicals. Donno how it would work, how much temperal power he and the Inquisition should have with local governments, if it implies that there is a 'galaxy' empire, government etc.

2008-11-14 [Artsy]: ... wow, you two just have totally different methods ^^ Write up what you think is important for me to know and send it to me in PM's please ^^ I'll read over, sort them out, then get them up soon enough! I've got the whole weekend to get this thing spiffed up. :)
